IMPLEMENTASI MODEL CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN WRITING SKILL
The CTL approach is a learning concept that connects course material with real-world situations and encourages students to apply their knowledge to everyday life. This study aims to improve students' ability to write news items through learning using the CTL approach. First-semester students at 17 Agustus 1945 University in Cirebon in the academic year 2022/2023 are the subjects, and the research analyzes their response to the approach. The study consists of two cycles of four stages of activities and uses data collection techniques of tests and observations. Results show that the CTL approach successfully improves students' ability to write news items and elicits a positive response.
