Abstract
In the era of globalization, foreign language skills, especially English, have important implications in improving the quality of Human Resources (HR). The ability of foreign language skills is a key factor that is indispensable for participating in a connected global environment, both in the context of education and the job market. This research conducted a literature review with the aim of investigating and analysing the impact and relevance of foreign language skills on improving the quality of human resources (HR). Through a literature review approach, this research uncovers how foreign language proficiency affects individuals' development, career opportunities and contributions in an increasingly globally integrated society. The literature review also identifies key issues, including the importance of foreign language competence in meeting the challenges of globalization, barriers to providing effective language training, and the changing needs of cross-cultural communication in the global job market. The importance of this research lies in better understanding the role of foreign language skills in meeting the challenges of globalization, and the implications of its importance in the development of individuals and societies in this global era.
