Peer Reviewer

MESTRO Journal is committed to maintaining a high standard of academic quality and research integrity. To achieve this, the journal implements a double-blind peer review process, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the evaluation.

1. Initial Screening

All submitted manuscripts are first screened by the editorial team to ensure compliance with the journal’s scope, focus, and formatting guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be returned to the authors before the review process.

2. Reviewer Assignment

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. Reviewers are selected based on their academic expertise, research background, and experience.

3. Review Process

Reviewers are expected to evaluate the manuscript objectively, focusing on originality, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the field of science and technology. Constructive feedback is provided to assist authors in improving the quality of their work.

4. Revision and Resubmission

Based on the reviewers’ comments, authors may be requested to revise their manuscript. The revised version must be submitted within the time frame specified by the editorial board. In some cases, the revised manuscript may be re-evaluated by the same reviewers to ensure that suggested improvements have been addressed.

5. Final Decision

The editorial board makes the final decision regarding manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection, taking into account the reviewers’ recommendations. Authors will be notified of the decision within one week after the review process is completed.

6. Author Communication

If no editorial decision is received within the specified time frame, authors have the right to contact the editorial office to inquire about the status of their submission. Through this rigorous review policy, MESTRO Journal strives to ensure the publication of high-quality, original, and impactful research in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering.
