Barakuda 45: Journal of Marine & Fisheries Sciences has been officially accredited as a Scientific Journal by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, based on Decree No. 177/E/KPT/2024. This accreditation confirms the journal's ranking upgrade from SINTA 4 to SINTA 3, effective from Volume 5, Issue 1 (2023) through Volume 9, Issue 2 (2027).

    According to the decision of the internal meeting held by the Barakuda 45 management team since the beginning of 2022, we are announcing that Mr. Andi Perdana G will fill the position of Editor-in-Chief in the future to replace Mrs. Dewi Nurhayati, who previously carried out this task well.
