Article Processing Charges (APC)

Effective from 17 September 2025, Barakuda’45 Journal has implemented the following Article Processing Charges (APC):

Article Submission
IDR 0 / USD 0
No submission fee is required. Submission is completely free of charge.

Article Publication
IDR 1,750,000 / USD 105
As an Open Access journal, an article processing charge is applied for each accepted manuscript to cover publication costs.

Fast Track Review
An optional fast track review service is available for authors who require an accelerated decision. Eligible manuscripts are sent immediately for peer review, and we aim to provide a first editorial decision within 3–4 weeks of submission.
This service does not guarantee acceptance. All submissions are evaluated using the same scientific and ethical standards as regular submissions. The fee for this service is USD 180. Authors interested in this option are advised to contact the Editorial Office by email before submitting.

Please Note
All manuscripts must undergo peer review and complete the full editorial process. Acceptance without peer review is not possible.
For regular submissions (non fast track), the typical time to first decision is 4–8 weeks. In more complex cases, the editorial process may take up to 3 months.

Refund Policy
Article Processing Charges (APCs) and optional fast track review fees are invoiced only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication. Once the APC and/or fast track fee has been paid, the corresponding author assumes full responsibility for the charge. These fees are generally non-refundable. Refunds will only be considered in cases of an error attributable to the journal (e.g., duplicate payment, incorrect amount charged, or technical billing problems).
