FOCUS: Jurnal of Law is committed to ensuring the availability, long-term accessibility, and integrity of published scholarly articles through electronic archiving. All published articles are managed and made accessible through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform on the journal's official website and are systematically organized by volume, issue, and year of publication. Readers, academics, researchers, and legal practitioners can access previously published articles through the Archives section of the journal's website.
Electronic archiving includes published article files and their associated bibliographic metadata, such as article titles, authors' names, abstracts, keywords, Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), where available, and publication details, including volume, issue, and year of publication. The archiving process aims to preserve the scholarly publication record, ensure the traceability of academic works, and facilitate the use of published articles for education, research, the advancement of legal scholarship, and professional legal practice.
As part of its ongoing commitment to digital preservation, FOCUS: Jurnal of Law refers to the documentation and recommendations provided by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) regarding the management and archiving of journals using OJS. Long-term digital preservation requires mechanisms that complement article storage on the journal's website, while separate data and system backups are necessary to support information security and service recovery in the event of technical disruptions.
Information regarding the journal's participation in external digital preservation services, such as the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), LOCKSS, or CLOCKSS, will be provided once participation and successful content preservation through these services have been verified.
Through this electronic archiving policy, FOCUS: Jurnal of Law seeks to maintain sustainable access to scholarly publications, safeguard the integrity of the academic record, and support the continuous dissemination and development of legal knowledge.
