Post-Publication Discussion

Post-Publication Discussion

FOCUS: Jurnal of Law encourages academic discussion, scholarly criticism, and the exchange of ideas following publication as part of its commitment to advancing scientific knowledge, particularly in the field of legal studies. The journal provides opportunities for readers, academics, researchers, and legal practitioners to submit scholarly comments through a Letter to the Editor concerning previously published articles.

Submitted comments must be objective, critical, constructive, and supported by sound academic arguments and reliable references. Post-publication discussions may address research methodologies, legal analyses, interpretations of laws and regulations, research findings, or conclusions presented in published articles.

All submitted comments will be reviewed and evaluated by the Editorial Board of FOCUS: Jurnal of Law to ensure their relevance, academic quality, and compliance with publication ethics. If the comments are considered suitable for publication, the authors of the original article will be given an opportunity to provide clarification or a formal response (Author's Response).

Scholarly comments and authors' responses may be published in subsequent issues of the journal or made available through the journal's online platform, subject to the Editorial Board's decision. This process aims to promote academic transparency, maintain the integrity of scholarly publications, and encourage the continuous development of legal scholarship.
