Review for This Journal
Journal Mestro welcomes researchers and practitioners with a track record in mechanical, electrical, civil, computer, or manufacturing engineering to join its reviewer pool. Reviewing is a voluntary academic service that strengthens the quality of engineering scholarship in Indonesia and the region.
Who Can Apply
- Holders of a master's or doctoral degree in an engineering field covered by the Focus and Scope.
- Authors of peer-reviewed publications in reputable national or international journals or conference proceedings.
- Willingness to complete reviews within the requested time (normally 2–4 weeks) and to follow the journal's ethical guidelines.
How to Apply
- Register an account on this journal site (or log in if you already have one).
- In the registration form, tick "Yes, I would like to be contacted with requests to review submissions to this journal" and list your reviewing interests (keywords).
- Send a short email to mestro@untagcirebon.ac.id with the subject "Reviewer Application – Journal Mestro", attaching a brief CV and links to your Google Scholar, SINTA, Scopus, or ORCID profile.
The editorial board evaluates each application and contacts applicants whose expertise matches current submissions.
Responsibilities of Reviewers
- Evaluate manuscripts objectively on originality, technical soundness, clarity, and contribution to the field.
- Treat manuscripts as confidential documents and do not use unpublished material for personal advantage.
- Declare any conflict of interest and decline invitations where impartiality may be compromised.
- Provide constructive, specific, and courteous comments that help authors improve their work.
- Do not upload manuscripts to generative AI tools; see the Artificial Intelligence Policy.
Recognition
Active reviewers are listed on the Reviewers page and may request a certificate of reviewing from the editorial office for each completed review.
